Blogging is fun!

It’s one of the only forms of writing that really offers true choice, flexibility and creativity.

True writing freedom!

You define your:

• Niche
• Writing Style
• Posting Frequency
• Post Details

You even choose the audience.

You are not constrained by product deadlines, and you’re not frustrated by pesky editors (or paying clients).

Therefore, in many respects, blogging is completely unlike conventional copywriting. Copywriting is all about working within imposed constraints: The client, their brand, their customers, their deadlines, their tastes, their prejudices, their priorities, their legal team, their demands and their budget. On a day-to-day basis, it offers very little of the freedom enjoyed by the average blogger.

But in one respect — one critical, undeniable respect — blogging is identical to copywriting . . .

When you are blogging you are selling . . .

Make no mistake you are selling something. You may be selling an idea that you have, you may be selling your credibility, your authority or perhaps your trustworthiness. WOW – you are selling yourself!

You may be helping to sell your product or service or your brand.

Keep this in mind when you are writing – blogging is fun while selling.
